I was 'sir'ed today. I was going to let this old lady go into the grocery store ahead of me and she said: 'No, that's ok, sir. You go ahead.'
Boy did I smirk.
Though I can't help wondering if she needed new glasses or something. Still...amused.
Reading week is nice, though I took a few days off to relax and now I'm about a week behind in my homework. Joy. I don't know how I'm supposed to get my stupid history paper done, but I suppose I'll find a way. I really don't like art history that much. Maybe it's because my teacher doesn't seem to realize the readings she assigns are just about as intelligable as Ancient Hebrew that's been carved on a stone and then let sit in the elements for the past thousand years. Or maybe I'm just bitter because I can't understand art scholar-ese. It's worse than legal-ese, if that's even possible.
Why can't these people write so that lazy people don't have to look words up in dictionaries. Especially since I don't have a dictionary and I'll be damned if I'll bring my reprotext down here so I can look up words on dictionary.com.
Maybe after supper, when I'm feeling better.
And random quiz results, just because. The second one's the best, because it doesn't fit me at all. xD
