Con-version and other things
Aug. 20th, 2007 10:55 pmCon was amazingly fun. Just - wow. Though I think in all it could have been better; it just didn't seem as big as last year. I never want to dress up as the Corpse Bride again. That must be one of the most uncomfortable costumes imaginable. The panels were remarkably not-that-interesting. Well, maybe they would have been better if I'd known the authors/books they were talking about. Clearly I'm not enough of a geek.
We left Sunday morning (after getting into costume) because there didn't seem much else to do. So Phil gave me a ride to Caro's, where I then dumped some stuff and left frantically for the bus. Dressed like a pirate. With two bags. Oh, and discovered that I inadvertently soaked my MP3 player, so I'm Bowie-less at the moment, or at least until it dries or decides to start working again. D:
I got home and changed in time to go to the NVDA workshop, which was amazingly fucking awesome. And left me with bruises, but that's ok. Now I have one on my left elbow to match the mystery one on my right.
I feel like I have no right to complain because this is still all my fault. That is all. Well, that and I need a hug. Anyone?
