So this weekend was fun. Went shopping with
girlnamedxena and
staranise at this new sari place that opened up. I'm still kind of giddy about how colourful that fabric was. Why can't white people wear pretty colours? It just doesn't seem quite fair. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to discover one of my ex-coworkers actually owns the store. I daresay we're definately going back once odango's finished making many clothes with her sari. Think I'll make a swing dress out of the fabric I bought.
Mmm...samosas. I need to start eating somewhat spicy food again so I don't burn my mouth out with food like that. I like samosas.
Today Caro and I went to Kensington to see if Extraordinary Toys had finished its renovations. It was. Hurrah! Lots of playing. =D The store was full of adults and they were all playing with the toys. If I lived closer to Kensington, I'd totally want to work there.
Started my Christmas/Midwinter shopping, which makes me happy. Hopefully I'll get most of it done before December so I don't have to worry about things like...Christmas music. *shudders* Actually one store was playing Christmas music. I feel really, really sorry for the salespeople there.
I might start my garb tomorrow! Have I mentioned that I hate fabric shopping? Mostly because I'm never sure exactly what I want to get, and then I'm intimidated by all the old ladies who actually know how to sew.
MEMAGE: (it's supposed to be in a lj-cut, but it doesn't appear to be working. >.<)

RULES: Each player of this game starts off with 10 weird things/habits/little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 10 weird habits/things/little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. No tagbacks.
1) I can't ride a bike.
2) When I was a child I had some sort of speech impediment. I could not, for the life of me, pronounce one letter. I think it was 'R.' I was supposed to go to speach correcting training or whatever, but it was too expensive or far away. Funnily enough, I don't remember this at all. The only reason I know is because Mom told me.
3) I want to be on Canada's Next Top Model. xD
4) I still sleep with a stuffed animal. I'm nineteen.
5) I hate answering phones.
6) I always sit in the middle right-hand side of the bus if I can. It's not so much an obsessive-compulsive thing as habit; it's easier to see street-signs from there and every now and then I'll go somewhere completely new.
7) I write poetry.
8) I AM GOING TO ART COLLEGE!!!1!
9) I have a cat.
10) I'm the kind of person who checks her schedule a million times to make sure she's going to the right place at the right time. Seriously. I've almost worn out school schedules by constantly referring to them.
