They're gone.
My wisdom teeth, of course. Now all I'm left with is a sore jaw, holes in my mouth and a lopsidedly swollen face (oh! my vanity!). All of which should disappear in the next few days. I'm even back to solid food, mostly. Just not...you know...crunchy solid food.
This is good. It makes me happy.
I went to Ikea last Monday with the 'rents. Just because. Though if we were smart, we'd have gone at least two hours before closing, not one. Still, we managed to run through the store and pick up some nice, and useful things on the way. Like a shelf for me, which is now on my wall. It's really nice, although really kind of tall. I can't really put anything on the top shelf because no one but Caroline's dad would be able to see it. Though I'm thinking about buying a small ivy plant and letting it trail down.
Re-arranging the stuff in my room to put it on my shelf went crazy. Suddenly I was hit by this huge urge to clean out my many boxes downstairs, many of which were filled with things I hadn't used or even thought of in years. So I did. I went from four boxes (large boxes, mind) to one and a half, most of which are keepsakes and not practical at all. Everything else was either thrown away or put in a pile for the yard sale we're planning on having on the nineteenth. Almost all my toys are gone. It's crazy. And my beanies, which I used to love, are now going to...someone who won't keep them hidden in a box.
Oh, Mom and Dad are back from church. Better get going then. We're off to Lake Louise today. Must bring camera.
