Proud to be Canadian
Jul. 27th, 2006 08:59 pmI just finished watching a documentary of called 'Weird Sex and Snowshoes' about Canadian films. Bwaha. It was fun. There was even a clip of two people in a canoe, which, as everyone knows, is incredibly Canadian. I sort of want to watch some of the movies now, except maybe the one about necrophelia. Because that's just kind of...O.x
It totally made my day, though. I kind of wish it was longer.
I also findally found some blank index cards. Superstore is really lacking in the stationary area, I don't even think they had ruled index cards. >.< So I went to the loonie store and got some blank ones. See, I've been sort of planning to make alethiometer-type cards, with the symbols, but you read it like tarot cards. The program is kind of neat, but the explanation for what the symbols 'mean' always seems to get in my way. Plus I'm rabid fannish like that.
No, that last sentence didn't make grammatical sense. Too bad. Remus can cry in a corner if he wants; I'm not changing it.
Oh, and there's a skunk under my neighbour's porch. I didn't even know we got skunks here. (Then again, apparently foxes live in Alberta, but you never see them, ever.)
So yes, Janine is happy. She also kind of wants to be in a Canadian movie, if only she could explain it to her parents. (Yes, Mom, the naked dancing scene with the corpse was completely necessary. And it wasn't a real corpse, so that doesn't make it so bad...right? Eheh.)
