So, I'm back in Calgary again. Fortunately, the trip back was a lot easier than the trip there. >.> I don't know if I could handle another flight like that any time soon.
The day after I got back, Mom, Dad and I went to go see the Phantom of the Opera. Oh. My. Goddess. It was amazing! Just...wow. So much better than the movie in almost every way. Like, you know, the guy who played the phantom could actually act. And the music? Beautiful. I nearly cried a few times, that's how good it was. When I watched the movie, all I really thought was 'Well, this is...pretty.'
Yesterday we went to see Pirates. it was all right. The special effects were awesome, of course, but I just felt like I didn't really get it. Maybe that's because we were in the second row and everything was huge and sort of blurry. My brother loved it, thought it was awesome...but I just don't know. And that ending? Augh. Damn Disney and their cliff-hangers. Oh, and plus I went home on the bus, through downtown at night dressed like a pirate. I may have been able to get a ride home, too, but I didn't even bother calling. >.> I can be such an idiot sometimes. Not that anything happened. I got three new mosquito bites, but that's about it.
It's freaking hot out. And I don't want to go to work on Monday. My 'rents want us to go to Canmore tomorrow. Should be interesting, though I really think I've been to enough tourist places for a while.
