Soul searching - hrm. I didn't know I did this enough to have any comments on it. I'm intersted in myself. I want to know why I do what I do, and feel the way I feel. I want to know what my weaknesses are so I can fix them, or at least work around them in some way. I want to understand myself. And self accepance is always good, you know?
Gender - Well, I'm transgendered, so I'll never be able to take gender for granted. Or at least, I really hope I never will. It's been really interesting - since coming out to myself as trans - to see all the ways that gender and gender expectations are used in society. I also consider myself feminist, so there's that as well. Although I don't really write about that much. There are so many people who do that so much better than I can.
Big pants - It's all about the big pants! The Big Pants Dance is an (in)famous dance I did in drag once, and then again and again because apparently everyone loves it. And I'm a kind of slave to the audience that way. I detest practicing it, but performing it isn't so bad. Which is kind of how I feel about every dance number I've ever done.
Dancing - I love to dance. It's what I want to do when I'm feeling really happy, and to any song I really love, even if it doesn't seem like the kind of song you can dance to. I've been swing dancing for a few years now, which I'm really fond of and need to do more often. There are times I wish my parents hadn't put me in swimming lessons, and put me through dancing instead.
Rainbows! - Who doesn't love rainbows? They're colourful and cheerful and I'm always wearing at least one rainbow item. And my friends (*cough*Trevor*cough*) have this tendency to buy me more rainbow things a lot, so I'll never run out.
